I like to work in the dark 11:45 AM
I went through my cleaning phase that I go through every once in a while when I'm feeling overwhelmed and need to clear my head. Today's focus area was my desk/studio/work area/where the magic happens. As you can see, I have all sorts of colors EVERYWHERE-- it's a huge component of all my work.
And yes, I was reading the latest on Apple and it's new Ipods-- slightly upset about no Beatles announcement

Catering to the creative side in all of us 6:43 AM
I am soo tired of the stereotypical commercials for cars where it's driving up a road and it has close up shots of this part and that part... and then at the end of it all they talk about the car offers this, that and that.
Now I'm a fan of car commercials that cater to the creative side in all of us.. take the one below as an example

tsunami = 9/11... not so sure about that 6:38 AM
The tsunami killed 100 times more people than 9/11.
The planet is brutally powerful. Respect it. Preserve it. www.wwf.org
A tragedy is a tragedy but I'm not sure the two are on the same level. I will say though, it does help put into perspective the fatality caused by the tsunami. Thanks I Believe in Advertising

Creative Juices are back 6:22 AM
Okay so it has been rough the past couple of weeks, even months in dealing with a lot of personal issues, dealing with the second biggest disappointment in my lifetime-- this time it was in relations to my job and work. I was knocked off my horse and it has honestly taken me this long to get back on it.
For a while I found myself not interested in doing much design work-- you can say that I was going through creative block. I just wanted to stay home and do nothing. Those who know me well know that this is not normal. I'm always on the go, multi-tasking and loosing sleep.
After finding closure with some things, spending quality time with the boy and family at the beach [realizing that I want to watch the sunrise and work from there later on in life] I am back on my game and taking over the world-- you better watch out too.
No more being lazy with this blog, I'm back on my media diet getting inspired and doing work. I have some great things in the works that I'm extremely excited about. Expect lots of posts-- I'm behind with a lot of them.
