Alice in the eyes of an illustrator 9:29 PM
I may have found my new favorite illustrator and her name is Jill Lin. I do not know much about her, all i know is that I've been on her website for the past hour trying to pick my favorite pieces and still can't decide-- Alice in Wonderland series above is a top contender. Make sure to check out her collaboration with Ban.do -- that is how I found her work.

I mustache, you mustache, we all mustache 7:56 AM
Yes, I sort of, kind of have an obsession with all that is mustache related. Well actually everything but having an actual mustache. I've been seeing a lot more designers and people in general incorporating it into a lot of stuff in clever ways. It's time that I bring all my findings together.
Let's start of with mustache band-aids--- SOOO CLEVER.
As expected, they're being sold at Urban Outfitters where you can find any other mustache inspired object.
And then there's the baby clothes with a mustache print you can find over at Handsome Howard
I wish I had a baby just so that I can buy it.
We live in a city where it gets bitter cold and windy in the winter.. well thanks to American Apparel, you can combat the harsh feeling on your face with a mustache mask.
I will end my post with the mustache pencils that can be found at Atypyk
I have lots more mustache related items that I've found on the web-- there's enough material for at least 3 more blog posts that will come at a later time. Thank you Swissmiss for feeding my "interest" in all that is mustache related. If you're wondering when this all started for me, ask Monica over at Lobese-- she's responsible for it =)

Beautiful Silhouettte 8:35 AM
Jenny Lee Fowler has these cute, simple silhouettes that have made themselves onto my desktop background. Again, simple, elegant and on sale over at Etsy.
This is a great way of showing someone you care. I'm sure you know of someone that has dried the petals from a rose they received. Well this is sort of a modern twist on that.

I only draw when I'm bored 8:15 AM
Okay anyone who knows me can tell you that I am not a fan of drawing. I can draw semi-well, assuming I actually get a pen to a paper. Ian always tells me that it's just me being lazy, the reasons are much different...
Anyhow, I stumbled across IamBoey's work. His details are amazing and a breath of fresh air. It reminds me of all the times I used to draw on styrofoam cups (prior to being more aware of the environment) Certainly check out his site and I'm sure you'll find a cup that you love. It was very hard for me to choose a few.
